Genopets is a "Move-to-Earn" mobile RPG built on the Solana blockchain that gamifies physical activity. It combines the fitness tracking of apps like Fitbit with the creature-nurturing mechanics of Tamagotchi and the battle/evolution systems of Pokémon.

The core premise is simple: you walk in real life to power up your digital pet. The more active you are, the more your "Genopet" grows, increasing its value and your potential in-game earnings.
A Comprehensive Move-to-Earn Platform
1. Move-to-Play Core Concept
Unlike traditional "Play-to-Earn" games that require you to sit at a screen for hours, Genopets is passive. It tracks your daily steps from your smartphone or wearable device and converts that physical movement into in-game fuel. Players must "Bank" their steps daily to convert them into Energy, which is used to level up pets, battle, and earn crypto tokens.
2. Gameplay Mechanics
The game revolves around your Genopet, a digital NFT spirit animal that evolves based on your activity. Players nurture their Genopet similar to a Tamagotchi, using banked Energy to feed, groom, and play with it. Genopets evolve physically as they level up, growing larger and more complex. Players can customize appearance and stats using NFT items called Augments (robotic wings, horns, tails) which are crucial for PvP battles.
3. Dual-Token Economy
Genopets uses a sophisticated dual-token system: $GENE (Governance Token) for high-value transactions and voting rights, and $KI (Utility Token) as the in-game currency earned by Habitat owners. The economy includes multiple NFT types: Genopets (digital pets), Habitats (virtual land for earning), and Refined Crystals for crafting and customization.
4. Play-to-Earn Mechanics
Free-to-Play users can summon a baby Genopet and build value through "sweat equity" by leveling up their pet for resale. Pay-to-Earn players who own Habitat NFTs can convert daily Energy into $KI tokens, craft in-game items for sale, or rent their Habitats to free players for profit sharing.
